Most noted for being the boyhood home of Thomas Jefferson, Tuckahoe Plantation boasts all that history has to offer between 1714 and 2018. In that amount of time there have been a significant number of people, their lives and even their deaths at this home. There are several documented deaths on the property and it played its part in the American Revolution and Civil Wars. With a history like this, it is not surprising that Tuckahoe is known as one of the most haunted houses in Virginia. Under normal circumstances, the interior of the home is only opened for private events though the gardens are open 9-5 daily for guests. On this special date, Tuckahoe opens its' door and invites guests in to revel in its' haunted history.
